youth task force
Richard was pivotal in bringing together a group of key community partners along with our Library and Park and Recreation staff to identify and help develop a new youth center, now known as the “Wildcat Den,” which serves middle school students of Milton.
east milton deck & manning park
Richard advocated to complete the long-awaited Deck Project which was accomplished on budget to preserve federal funds earmarked for this purpose.
fire department
Richard helped negotiate and secure funding for the new MFD Headquarters which was completed earlier this year. Richard also helped procure land adjacent to St. Agatha’s for the new East Milton Fire Station.
milton art center
Richard facilitated the 10-year lease for the Milton Art Center preserving this special resource for the enjoyment of all our residents.
neponset river
Richard lobbied hard to secure funding for the cleanup of the Neponset River, a new home for Milton Crew, and $500K renovation to the historic Milton Yacht Club.
